Mutaman Yaku

the water that transforms

Dispatches from the interior. Notes from five years of wandering — through mountains, meditation halls, and the long silences between.

I left a career and walked into the unknown. Since then: Vipassana retreats across a dozen countries, a yoga teacher training in Mysore, the Camino, a cabin in Córdoba, and a bag full of handwritten notebooks.

Mutaman Yaku — "the water that transforms" in Quechua — is where those notebooks become essays. It's a record of what happens when you take silence seriously.
